How To Apply

In person at the application Centers: Please note all applicants must have prior appointment to apply in person at all application centers. No applications will be accepted without Prior Appointment. All applicants must ensure they print both the online application form and appointment confirmation letter, and bring both when attending the application center for their appointment. All applicants must also ensure that the signature on the application form is written only within the box provided.

Applications by Mail (Visa Only): Applicants wish to send the application by post must select “UK- London” as Mission, while filling the application form online for Visa. Applicant must pay for full visa fee including, service fee, courier fee (Or include return Self-addressed special delivery envelope only) either online or send a postal order in payable to VF Services (UK) Ltd.

Important Note: Immediate family members applying for the Visa / Issuance or Renewal of Passport / OCI / Surrender of Indian Passport and select Consular services can submit the applications with appointments and due authorisation on behalf of their family members. All family members are not required to appear in person at the application centres for submission of applications, unless advised.

 

Know Your Jurisdiction

Applicants residing in the following counties must SELECT “UK- Birmingham”, as Mission while filling the online application form, where applicable and  can Submit the applications at the offices in Birmingham, Leicester, Manchester, Liverpool, Bradford and Newcastle with prior appointment only.

Applicants residing in the counties in Scotland must Select “UK- Edinburgh” as Mission, while filling the online application form, where applicable and can submit the applications at the offices in Edinburgh and Glasgow with prior appointment only.

Applicants residing in any part of the UK, including the counties mentioned above can submit the applications at any of the 3 offices in London (Goswell Road, Hounslow, and Paddington), Bristol, Cardiff and Belfast with prior appointment only. Applicants wish to submit the application at these offices must select “UK- London” as Mission, while filling the application form Online for Visa, OCI and Indian Passport Services.

 

How to book an Appointment

For Visa: Applicants are advised to follow the instruction for “Appointment & Online Payment” upon completion of online form. Please ensure you bring both the completed and signed online application form and the appointment confirmation letter when attending the application center for your appointment.

At the India Visa and Consular Application Centre

Applicants will be attended by the Security Personal at the entrance of the centre, after confirming the details , the applicant will be issued a token number for the respective service . Applicants are required to take a seat & wait for their numbers to be called out on the screen placed in the waiting area.

Once at the counter applicant will be asked to submit their necessary documents & pay for the service required. Once the process is completed the applicant will be advised about the tentative timelines, along with the receipt of the services paid for. Once the documents are ready, applicants will be informed about the status of their application via a text & email alert (paid service). The ‘same day / fast track’ service is only applicable for Business VISA .
